Where sand filters work by depth filtration through a media bed, the ASCF filters on a precise screen and cleans that screen automatically under full flow – without interrupting service.

Built for liquid filtering applications that demand unattended operation and maximum uptime. It removes particulates, suspended solids, macro-organisms, sand, silt, algae, and fish and mussel eggs.

THREE SAND FILTER OPTIONS

Sureflo builds all three, plus automatic backwash screen filters. Which suits depends on flow, available head, plot area and how much attention the filter can be given.

SAND FILTERS – DEPTH FILTRATION

A media bed removes a suspended solids load across the depth of the bed.

  • Higher solids loading, up to 100 ppm TSS
  • Three options: AVGF, PSF and HRF
